About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to join the culinary team at the flagship restaurant of one of India’s most celebrated chefs. This unique opportunity is perfect for chefs who are deeply inspired by India’s royal culinary heritage, with a flair for authentic preparation, modern presentation, and impeccable quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of a designated section in the kitchen, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
- Prepare and present dishes rooted in royal Indian cuisine, maintaining traditional authenticity and flavor.
- Support Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development, mise en place, and service.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards as per food safety guidelines.
- Train and mentor Commis chefs and kitchen staff in traditional techniques and modern standards.
- Uphold the vision and culinary ethos of the flagship outlet and celebrity chef.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in luxury or fine-dining Indian restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of royal Indian cuisines (e.g., Mughlai, Awadhi, Rajasthani, Hyderabadi).
- Passion for heritage cooking, with a modern and creative approach to plating and service.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistency during high-volume service.
- Team player with excellent communication and leadership qualities.
