Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
- Marinate meats and vegetables as per recipes and portion guidelines.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation before serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor station and kitchen area.
- Work closely with kitchen staff and follow instructions from senior chefs.
- Assist in menu planning, portion control, and inventory management.
- Follow food safety standards and hotel operating procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or in a similar role in Indian cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques and traditional recipes.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
