We are seeking a warm, friendly, and organized Host/Hostess (Hoster) to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for greeting customers, managing the seating chart, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience from the moment guests enter the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a smile and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain the waiting list and provide accurate wait times.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Manage table seating rotation to ensure efficient service.
- Handle reservations via phone or walk-ins.
- Answer basic customer inquiries about menu, restaurant hours, or policies.
- Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen team to manage guest flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front area.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and provide assistance when needed.
- Handle any guest complaints or issues professionally and promptly.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12th Pass / Any Degree.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
