Job Summary:
The Restaurant Hostess will serve as the face of the restaurant, welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth seating experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, grooming, and attention to detail to create a warm and professional first impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Maintain reservation and seating charts effectively.
- Manage guest waiting lists during peak hours.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries or bookings.
- Ensure the reception and waiting area remain neat, clean, and welcoming.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and relay feedback to the manager.
Profile Requirements:
- Graduate or diploma in hospitality or any stream.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a hostess or front-of-house staff.
- Well-groomed, polite, with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Pleasant personality with good customer handling abilities.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi/Marathi preferred.
