About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while ensuring consistency, presentation, and taste.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, donuts, brownies, cinnamon rolls, and other desserts.
- Innovate and create new recipes, seasonal specials, and festive desserts.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all baked goods.
- Monitor inventory of baking supplies, order ingredients, and minimize wastage.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and FSSAI standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff for smooth daily operations.
- Train and supervise junior bakers/assistants when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
- Meet daily production targets and manage timelines efficiently.
Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Bakery & Pastry Arts or relevant certification.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a bakery/café/hotel.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and decorating desserts.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders.
- Good time management and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Experience:
- pastry chef: 3 years (Preferred)
