Position Summary:
The Commis-1 – Pastry assists in the preparation, production, and presentation of all bakery and pastry items as per established recipes and standards. This role ensures high-quality products, maintains hygiene, and supports smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing bakery and pastry items including breads, cakes, cookies, desserts, and chocolate work as per menu requirements.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and plating standards to ensure consistency.
- Maintain mise-en-place for assigned section and replenish stock as required.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, sheeters, and proofers safely and efficiently.
- Ensure work area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to HACCP and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Monitor and report shortages of ingredients or equipment to the Pastry Chef.
- Minimize wastage through proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items when required.
- Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards as per hotel policy.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and hygiene regulations.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
