The Role of 'CDP Baking and Pastry' in Baking and Pastry department requires you to be well versed with the roles in the kitchen. You should be able to handle all kitchen equipments and ingredients safely and hygienically. You will be leading the team and kitchen and same kind of discipline will be expected from you. It is not an easy role and a minimum of 8 years of experience will be required for it.
Responsibilities
Your job responsibilities will include the following:
- To follow recipes to the gram in order to maintain standard food quality.
- To maintain the kitchen equipments.
- To maintain kitchen and food hygiene at all times strictly
- To be punctual for your duty and take up responsibilities
- To help and guide your entire team for production
- Must be able to develop new recipes along with Commi 1.
- Maintain FIFO for all ingredients
- Receive orders from vendors
- Label everything that goes into the fridge
- Layer Cakes
- Make Desserts and Pastries
- Lamination of croissant dough
- Basic fondant art/ human figures
Qualifications
The needed qualifications are as follows:
- Must have at least 8 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Must have worked in the Bakery and Pastry Department
- Must be comfortable in working with all ingredients
