The Restaurant Captain is a key member of the restaurant's service team, responsible for overseeing the dining experience of guests, ensuring that service runs smoothly, and leading a team of servers and other front-of-house staff. They are the primary point of contact for customers and are responsible for maintaining high service standards, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing the flow of service in the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated.
- Assist guests with menu selections, making recommendations based on their preferences or dietary restrictions.
- Ensure timely service of food and beverages to guests.
- Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Check in with guests periodically to ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
