Position: Manual QA Tester
Location: Sector 22, Chandigarh
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 6 months or more in manual software testing
Key Responsibilities
- Test Execution & Bug Reporting
- Execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and report bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Perform regression, functional, and UI testing.
- Documentation & Collaboration
- Prepare and update test plans, test cases, and reports.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Provide QA input during sprint planning and reviews.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards before release.
- Suggest improvements in testing processes and product usability.
- Follow software testing life cycle (STLC) and company QA guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Around 6 months of hands-on manual testing experience.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools.
- Basic knowledge of databases, APIs, or web technologies is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and communication skills.
