Role Overview
The Commis Chef is an entry-level kitchen role, responsible for supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations. The role focuses on food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and learning professional cooking techniques. This is the foundation position for growth within the kitchen, with opportunities to advance to higher roles as skills and responsibility increase.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mise en place: chopping, portioning, marinating, and prepping ingredients as directed.
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and kitchen SOPs consistently.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries correctly.
- Support smooth service during busy hours by working efficiently and as part of a team.
- Minimize wastage and ensure quality standards are met.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
