Job details-
This role involves reading blueprints, translating designs into machine-readable code, and making adjustments during production to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Also combines programming, technical expertise, and hands-on operation of CNC machines to produce high-quality parts, while also ensuring quality control and maintaining the machines' functionality
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with various CNC machines (e.g., milling, lathe, grinding).
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and processes.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and material properties.
- Experience with measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Programming: Develop and modify CNC programs using G-code and other relevant software, selecting appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
- Setting: Prepare and load raw materials and fixtures, adjust machine settings to match part specifications, and perform test runs.
- Operating: Monitor machine operation, make necessary adjustments during production, and ensure the quality of the finished product.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products, measure dimensions, and ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine issues, including programming errors and machine malfunctions.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines and related equipment.
- Collaboration:Work with engineers, production supervisors, and quality control personnel.
