Job Title: Bakery Chef / Pastry Chef

Job Summary:
The Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods such as breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, bagels, donuts, and other items as per the brand's standard recipes. The role requires expertise in baking techniques, creativity in presentation, and adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Baking & Preparation:
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of bakery items daily
- Follow standard recipes and ensure consistency in taste and texture
- Innovate and suggest seasonal/new products based on trends and customer demand
- Maintain mise-en-place for daily production
Inventory & Kitchen Management:
- Track usage and consumption of ingredients and maintain inventory records
- Coordinate with the store/kitchen team for timely ingredient restocking
- Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices
- Manage wastage and help reduce food costs
Hygiene & Safety:
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and baking areas
- Follow all FSSAI and HACCP guidelines
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly
- Wear proper uniform and maintain grooming standards
Team Collaboration:
- Guide assistants/helpers during production
- Work closely with café staff for timely delivery of items
- Communicate clearly with management for menu planning, production schedules, and quality control
Skills & Requirements:
- Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and oven operations
- Skilled in dough handling, fermentation, mixing, and decoration
- Attention to detail in presentation and portion control
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment (oven, proofer, mixer, etc.)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
