We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoor Cook to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in operating a tandoor to prepare a variety of tandoori dishes, including naan, roti, kebabs, tandoori chicken, and other traditional Indian or Middle Eastern cuisine items. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori dishes such as naan, tandoori roti, kebabs, and tandoori chicken. Ensure proper marination and seasoning of tandoori items to maintain authentic flavors. Operate and maintain the tandoor oven efficiently and safely. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve the desired taste and texture. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor section of the kitchen. Manage ingredient inventory and ensure the use of fresh and high-quality products. Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while handling multiple orders. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards. Requirements: Proven experience as a Tandoor Cook in a restaurant or catering setup. Expertise in handling a tandoor oven and preparing tandoori dishes. Knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and traditional cooking techniques.
