Job Summary
The Cafe & Snacks Cooking Servant is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of snacks, beverages, and light meals in a clean, hygienic, and timely manner. The role involves both back-end kitchen preparation and front-end service to customers or staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook snacks, tea, coffee, and light meals as per menu or order.
- Maintain freshness and quality of food items.
- Ensure all cooking and serving areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic.
- Monitor pantry and kitchen stock; request replenishment of ingredients when required.
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Serve snacks and beverages to customers, staff, or guests courteously.
- Wash and store utensils, cookware, and serving items.
- Assist in menu planning for daily or weekly snack items.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness.
Requirements
- Basic cooking skills for snacks, beverages, and light cafe items.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good personal hygiene and grooming.
- Punctual, reliable, and customer-friendly.
- Prior experience in a cafe, canteen, or food service role preferred.
