Key Responsibilities:
As a Hostess:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently.
- Maintain professional grooming, body language, and a welcoming smile at all times.
- Answer phone calls politely and provide accurate information regarding restaurant services.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations and guest comfort.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
As a Steward:
- Take food & beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages as per hotel standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set up, clean, and well-presented.
- Assist in clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Support banquet events or in-room dining service if required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
- Previous experience as Hostess/Steward in a hotel or fine dining restaurant is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
- Pleasant personality, well-groomed appearance, and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food & beverage menu, wine service, and upselling techniques.
