Job Title: Executive Chef - North Indian Cuisine
Location: Muscat, Oman
Job Summary:
The Executive Chef will be wholly responsible for the entire kitchen operation, from menu innovation and food production to team management and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary North Indian cooking techniques and flavors, and a flair for creating an unparalleled dining experience. This role requires a leader who can inspire a team to deliver culinary excellence consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute innovative menus featuring high-quality, authentic North Indian dishes, while also staying current with culinary trends.
· Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation to ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency.
· Manage and lead a team of kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Ensure strict adherence to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations in the kitchen.
· Control food costs, manage inventory, and work with suppliers to source the finest ingredients.
· Collaborate with the management team on special promotions, events, and to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Proven experience as an Executive Chef, or a similar leadership role, in a star-rated hotel or a reputable fine dining restaurant is mandatory.
· Specialized expertise in North Indian cuisine is essential.
· A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
· Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and sanitation regulations.[1]
