Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes such as pastas, steaks, grills, soups, salads, and sauces.
- Ensure food preparation is done according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the workstation at all times.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and supplies.
- Assist in planning and developing new continental menu items.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards as per hotel policy.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during peak hours.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Culinary degree or professional chef training preferred.
- Good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Creativity and passion for food presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
