Job Title: Commis Chef

Job Summary:
The Commis Chef is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food under the supervision of senior chefs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about culinary arts and eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, and utensils.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Receive and store kitchen deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and stored properly.
- Assist in plating dishes and ensuring portion control and presentation standards.
- Learn and practice new cooking techniques and kitchen equipment handling.
- Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- A culinary diploma or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹11,048.14 - ₹22,000.00 per month
