We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets to drive company growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the agricultural sector, including farmers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends.

2. Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Provide after-sales support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
3. Product Knowledge & Promotion
- Stay updated on the latest agricultural products, technologies, and industry trends.
- Educate customers on the benefits and proper usage of products.

4. Sales Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

5. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background: Any Degree
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in sales
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in selling agri-inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, or cattle feed.
- Familiarity with local agricultural practices and market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in the local language(s) to effectively communicate with farmers and stakeholders.
