Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with students via call .
- Provide guidance on course selection based on their requirement
- Organize workshops and seminars on topics such as study skills, test-taking strategies, and academic goal setting.
- Stay informed about academic policies, procedures, and requirements to provide accurate information to students.
- Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and student progress.
- Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration to facilitate communication and problem-solving.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in academic counseling to continuously improve services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in academic advising, counseling, or student support services preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and foster a supportive environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Proficiency in computer software for record-keeping and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
