Site Supervisor – Job Role
1. Job Purpose
To oversee on-site installation, assembly, and finishing of furniture projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion as per design specifications.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Site Coordination – Supervise installation teams, allocate daily tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Quality Control – Inspect materials, workmanship, and finishes to match design and client requirements.
- Project Scheduling – Coordinate with the production unit, suppliers, and contractors to meet deadlines.
- Technical Supervision – Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and design specifications.
- Safety Compliance – Enforce workplace safety rules and maintain a hazard-free site.
- Client Interaction – Address client queries, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Material Handling – Verify material deliveries, track usage, and prevent wastage.
- Problem Solving – Resolve on-site issues, defects, or deviations from design promptly.
- Documentation – Maintain daily site reports, attendance records, and progress updates.
3. Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Furniture Manufacturing, Interior Design, Civil, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in furniture installation or interior fit-outs.
- Knowledge of carpentry, modular furniture systems, and finishing techniques.
- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
4. Work Environment
- Primarily site-based (client locations, offices, showrooms).
- Requires travel between sites.
- May involve extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Panvel, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)
Experience:
- total work: 1 year (Preferred)
- Supervising: 1 year (Preferred)
