Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable SEO Intern who is passionate about digital marketing and has a strong understanding of SEO strategies and tools. The ideal candidate should be capable of implementing effective SEO techniques that drive organic traffic, improve rankings, and generate measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform keyword research using various tools (Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, etc.)
- Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headers, image alt text, and content
- Conduct website audits and implement improvements for better search engine visibility
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Assist in developing SEO-friendly content in coordination with content writers
- Build and manage backlinks through ethical link-building strategies
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports and suggest actionable improvements
- SEO and SEM: Perform keyword research, optimize website content for search engines, and support paid advertising initiatives on platforms like Google Ads.
- Market Research: Conduct competitor and audience research to identify trends, insights, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing platforms.
- Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), maintaining a consistent brand voice and engaging with the audience.
- Influencer and Partnership Outreach: Help identify and connect with influencers or potential partners for collaborations and brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO concepts (On-page, Off-page, and Technical SEO)
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in the field of SEO
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed or pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related fields
- Previous internship or project experience in SEO or digital marketing is a plus
