Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Rebar Coordinator to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rebar detailing, BIM/Revit, and project coordination. Experience working on GCC projects will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and coordinate rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS)
- Work closely with design and construction teams to ensure accurate reinforcement detailing
- Use BIM tools to coordinate structural rebar models
- Ensure compliance with international codes and client standards
- Manage rebar documentation and version control across projects
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to resolve detailing and constructability issues
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in rebar coordination and detailing
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software
- Strong understanding of rebar codes and detailing standards
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills
- Experience with GCC projects is a plus
- Candidates based in Coimbatore are preferred
