Role Overview
The Principal will provide academic and administrative leadership to the school, ensuring the highest standards in teaching, learning, and overall school functioning. The role involves teacher observations, academic supervision, administration, and effective stakeholder management to foster a strong academic culture aligned with CBSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership
- Lead curriculum planning, execution, and monitoring in line with CBSE guidelines.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Drive academic excellence by monitoring lesson plans, assessments, and student performance.
- Organize and oversee remedial programs to support learning outcomes.
2. Teacher Development & Supervision
- Mentor and guide teachers on pedagogy, classroom management, and student engagement.
- Conduct regular teacher observations, provide feedback, and prepare observation reports.
- Organize professional development programs and workshops for staff.
- Ensure adherence to teaching standards and effective use of teaching-learning resources.
3. Administration & Compliance
- Oversee daily operations of the school including timetabling, discipline, and staff management.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE norms, state education rules, and school policies.
- Manage admissions, examinations, attendance, and record-keeping.
- Supervise safety, security, and infrastructure-related matters of the school.
4. Student & Parent Engagement
- Monitor student progress and well-being, ensuring a positive and safe school environment.
- Address student issues in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Build strong parent-school communication through meetings, workshops, and open forums.
5. Leadership & Community Building
- Build a culture of teamwork and collaboration among teachers and staff.
- Represent the school with external stakeholders, education boards, and authorities.
- Promote the school’s vision, values, and academic ethos in the community.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in relevant field (Education preferred).
- B.Ed. mandatory; M.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership/administrative role in CBSE schools.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and drive academic excellence.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
