1) Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
2) Conduct regular fire risk assessments and ensure compliance with local fire codes and safety regulations.
3) Ensure availability and proper functioning of fire protection systems (extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, etc.).
4) Prepare and update the company’s emergency response plan.
5) Organize fire drills, mock evacuations, and other emergency response training programs.
6) Act as the primary point of contact during fire or emergency incidents.
7) Conduct fire safety training for employees, contractors, and security personnel.
8) Promote awareness about fire hazards, prevention techniques, and emergency evacuation procedures.
9) Perform regular safety audits and site inspections to identify potential fire hazards.
10) Ensure that corrective actions are implemented for all safety non-compliances.
11) Maintain inspection reports, checklists, and compliance records.
12) Monitor procurement, placement, maintenance, and inspection of fire safety equipment.
13) Maintain up-to-date records of all fire safety devices and their servicing.
