To manage and maintain accurate student, staff, and school data in the Education Management Information System (EMIS) and ensure timely reporting to the education department and school management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and manage student records including admissions, attendance, transfers, assessments, and withdrawals in EMIS.
- Enter and update teacher/staff details (qualifications, experience, attendance, salary details if required).
- Prepare and generate various reports (enrollment, attendance, performance, staff strength, infrastructure) from EMIS as required by school management and education authorities.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of data at all times.
- Coordinate with teachers, admin staff, and head of the institution to collect required information.
- Monitor and track student progress and school performance through EMIS data.
- Support inspections, audits, and department requirements by providing timely EMIS reports.
- Provide training and guidance to staff in using EMIS (if required).
- Maintain backup and records of all data entered in the system.
- Troubleshoot EMIS-related issues and coordinate with the education department/IT team for resolution.
