We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Diamond Assorter to join its quality control and production team. This role is ideal for someone with an exceptional eye for detail, precision grading experience, and a deep appreciation for the artistry of luxury jewellery. The Diamond Assorter will play a critical role in ensuring every gem meets the exacting standards of our brand’s elegance and authenticity.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, classify, and assort diamonds based on cut, clarity, colour, and carat weight
- Identify inconsistencies and ensure quality standards are met across batches
- Coordinate with sourcing, design, and manufacturing teams on diamond specifications
- Maintain detailed records of assorting batches and diamond inventories
- Assist in cataloging diamond lots for client presentations and custom orders
- Collaborate with designers to recommend diamonds suited to specific jewellery styles
- Support showroom readiness by preparing and organizing stones for display and appointments
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in diamond assorting or grading
- Strong knowledge of diamond 4Cs and assorting techniques
- Ability to work with precision tools and gemmological instruments
- Familiarity with luxury jewellery standards and client expectations
- GEM-A or GIA certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Software handling in related field
- Graduation Required
