Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate an assigned kitchen section.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the section.
- Train and supervise commis chefs or kitchen assistants.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Coordinate with other sections to ensure timely service.
Requirements:
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institute.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and quality control.
