Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for WebUI applications.
- Create and execute API test cases using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test automation strategies.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing efforts.
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain documentation related to test planning, test cases, and test execution results.
- Support manual testing efforts when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Tricentis Tosca.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or comparable tools.
- Strong scripting skills in VBScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and the full SDLC.
- Experience in creating modular, reusable, and maintainable test cases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Tricentis Tosca or similar automation frameworks.
- ISTQB certification an advantage
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Experience integrating Tosca with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding teams through complex projects, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Experience in team handling, including mentoring junior members, delegating tasks effectively, and resolving conflicts to ensure optimal productivity and morale
