Qualification
:
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Git workflows, and pipeline templating.
- Solid experience with Jira, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory integrations.
- Deep understanding of Databricks environment management, including workspace admin, asset bundle deployments, and job scheduling.
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Strong grasp of DevOps best practices, DORA metrics, and production monitoring.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and modern SDLCs.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills

Role
:
- DevOps Architecture & Design: Design scalable, secure DevOps architectures aligned with organizational goals and cloud-native best practices.
- CI/CD Implementation: Build and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Actions with integrated quality gates, testing, and deployment stages.
- Toolchain Integration: Implement and maintain integrations with Jira, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Databricks, and other development tools.
- Databricks Administration: Oversee workspace administration, manage asset bundles, configure secret scopes, and ensure best practices in notebook deployment and job orchestration.
- Monitoring & Observability: Define, collect, and monitor DORA metrics and other key KPIs using observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace etc.).
- Testing Automation: Embed unit tests, integration tests, and quality checks into CI pipelines to ensure high code quality and reduce regression.
- Security & Compliance: Integrate security scanning, secrets management, and policy enforcement within pipelines.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Design and manage infrastructure on Azure, leveraging scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration.
- Collaboration & Enablement: Collaborate with development, QA, and data engineering teams to support agile delivery and empower team-level DevOps capabilities.
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain clear documentation for pipeline workflows, architectural patterns, and deployment standards.
