Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of pastries, bread, and desserts.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve desired results.
- Contribute to the development of new recipes and innovative baked goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following hygiene and safety standards.
- Package and display bakery products attractively for customers.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet daily production goals.
- Receive and manage inventory, notifying the supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy ingredients and stand for extended periods.
