The Accountant cum Admin is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and managing day-to-day administrative tasks. This role requires a blend of accounting expertise and administrative skills to ensure smooth operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Administrative Duties:
- Support daily office operations, including managing schedules and correspondence.
- Maintain and organize company records and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring efficient usage.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and clients regarding administrative inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.
- Experience in payroll processing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with standard working hours.
