- Provide round-the-clock medical coverage and attend to inpatients in the assigned ward.
- Perform initial assessment and documentation of patients upon admission.
- Monitor patient vitals, clinical condition, and response to treatment.
- Ensure timely administration of prescribed medications and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and progress notes.
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and stabilize patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, nursing staff, and consultants.
- Assist senior consultants in performing minor procedures as needed.
- Ensure documentation of consent, clinical procedures, and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate with diagnostics, pharmacy, and nursing departments for patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.
