Job Title: Ward Incharge – Nursing
Location: Ovum Hospitals – HSR Layout & Hoskote
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Staff Nurse (Hospital Experience Mandatory)
Qualification: B.Sc / GNM Nursing – KNC Registration Mandatory
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities in the ward.
- Ensure patient care, safety, and comfort at all times.
- Allocate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance.
- Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and documentation.
- Manage ward supplies, equipment, and cleanliness.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and nursing standards.
- Act as the point of contact for doctors, patients, and attendants regarding ward concerns.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and guide staff.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate junior nursing staff.
- Handle emergency situations effectively in coordination with doctors and departments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent patient care and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and infection control measures.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
