Job Description:
- Professionally receive incoming calls from patients regarding appointments, billing questions, medical information, and general inquiries.
- Assist patients in scheduling appointments and providing necessary details.
- Clearly explain policies, procedures, and services to patients.
- Make outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders, post-visit check-ins, or to gather additional information.
- Address patient concerns and complaints, escalate issues when necessary.
- Accurately record patient details, call information, and interactions in medical records system.
- Adhere to strict patient privacy guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Clear and concise verbal communication to effectively understand patient needs and provide accurate information.
- Ability to attentively listen to patient concerns and inquiries to provide appropriate responses.
- Strong focus on delivering excellent patient care and building positive relationships.
- Familiarity with hospital management systems and electronic medical records software.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling complex or challenging patient situations.
Qualifications:
- Graduation or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Strong typing and data entry skills
- English Speaking preferred.
