Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of adult medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, ECG, X-rays).
- Formulate treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medication and therapy.
- Manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and cardiac issues.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide acute care when required.
- Coordinate with specialists, surgeons, and other medical staff for comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments in treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with medical documentation standards.
- Guide junior doctors, RMOs, and nursing staff regarding clinical care and protocols.
- Attend hospital rounds, OPD consultations, and patient follow-ups.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Good interpersonal communication with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to handle emergency medical situations.
- Proficiency in using hospital information systems (HIS) and EMR.
Preferred Attributes:
- DNB/MD in General Medicine from a recognized institute.
- Registration with State Medical Council/MCI.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (if required).
