We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Kannada Teacher to teach Kannada language to students from Grades 1 & 2. The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, developing age-appropriate curriculum, and promoting a love for the Kannada language and culture.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Kannada lessons in line with the curriculum guidelines .
- Use a variety of teaching methods to make lessons interesting, engaging, and inclusive.
- Foster reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Kannada.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress through tests, assignments, and regular feedback.
- Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Organize and participate in cultural activities and Kannada Day celebrations.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and any concerns.
- Maintain records of student performance, attendance, and lesson plans.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kannada or related subject.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred or required based on school policy.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Kannada fluently.
- Good communication skills in Kannada and English.
- Good computer knowledge.
