Job Description
The Sales Officer - Distribution is responsible for managing and growing the distribution network in a defined territory. This includes working closely with distributors, retailers, and internal teams to drive primary and secondary sales, ensure product availability, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appoint, manage, and nurture distributors and stockists in the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for both primary (distributor-level) and secondary (retail-level) sales.
- Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and placement across the retail channel.
- Regularly visit distributors and retailers to build strong relationships and ensure order generation.
- Monitor distributor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Plan and execute route plans for retail market visits.
- Identify new market opportunities and suggest market expansion strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Candidate must have experience in FMCG, Lubricants, Gas Products, Auto care products.
- 1–3 years of experience in distribution sales
- Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales operations.
- Good knowledge of local geography and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Target-driven with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
