Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Configuration Management Plans in compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973, EIA-649).
- Responsible for the SAP Interface to all the documents pertaining to design and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Must have an experience of Impact analysis in change management.
- Responsible for the Draft preparation of Estimation of detail parts.
- Maintain configuration control of system baselines including Drawing, Specifications, CAM Programs, 3D Models and other Design furnished documentation.
- Establish and manage change control boards (CCBs), and review and approve engineering change requests.
- Ensure traceability of configuration items through all lifecycle phases.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure CM practices are followed.
- Maintain CM databases and tools.
- Prepare configuration audits and status accounting reports for internal and customer review.
- Support compliance with defense standards and regulatory requirements.
- Interface with customers and government representatives on CM-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engg, Automobile engineering
- 5-8 years of experience in configuration management, preferably in aerospace or defense projects.
- Strong knowledge of CM tools and industry standards.
- Experience in Handling SAP S4 HANA Platform.
- Familiarity with defense and aerospace documentation, security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Security clearance eligibility may be required depending on project involvement.
