Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our furniture manufacturing company. The COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and aligning operations with the company’s long-term strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, process improvement, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Production Management
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations across all facilities.
- Ensure efficient production schedules, quality control, and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to optimize material costs and availability.
- Forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory planning to meet customer needs.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with executive team to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Translate company goals into operational strategies and actionable KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead and mentor department heads in manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance, and operations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance.
- Support talent development, training programs, and succession planning.
Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage annual budgets for operational departments.
- Monitor operational performance against financial targets and KPIs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in operational leadership roles within furniture manufacturing or a related industry.
- Proven track record in scaling operations, improving manufacturing efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, production planning, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity production management software.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time position based in Gurugram, travel to other related branch/store & suppliers as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,550,000.00 - ₹2,287,334.85 per year
