- A VMC programmer and setter is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting programs for Vertical Machining Centers
- 1. Their key responsibilities include creating and optimizing CNC programs, interpreting technical drawings, and setting up and operating VMC machines to ensure precise manufacturing Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as VMC operator and programming min 1-3 years on Fanuc & Mazak controller.
- Skill in operating VMC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Good communication abilities
- ITI or diploma & B. Tech in Mechanical engineering
- Successfully completed apprenticeship is required
