Key Responsibilities
- Set up CNC/VMC machines with appropriate tools, fixtures, and programs.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
- Select and install cutting tools, work holding devices, and materials.
- Conduct trial runs and prove programs in single-block mode.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in G-code/M-code programming
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas controllers
- Strong understanding of cutting speeds, feeds, and material types
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
- Basic knowledge of quality control procedures
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Making
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machine setting
- Exposure to components in automotive, aerospace sectors preferred.
