Role Overview – Upwork Bidder / BDE
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Upwork Bidder to join our Business Development team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in using online freelancing platforms (Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.) to identify leads, pitch services, and close projects related to:
- Website Development
- SEO Services
- Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Designing - Logo, Brochure, Catalogue, Packaging
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly bid on projects across platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and others
- Write compelling proposals tailored to client needs
- Communicate with potential clients via chat, calls, or email
- Convert leads into confirmed projects and build long-term business relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams (development, marketing, design) to scope and deliver solutions
- Track pipeline and submit regular performance reports
Requirements
- 6 months – 2 years of experience in online bidding or business development (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of digital services (web, SEO, marketing)
- Ability to handle multiple platforms simultaneously
- Goal-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
