Tiler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tiler to install and repair tiles in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, knowledge of tile types and patterns, and experience working with a variety of materials including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and stone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing as needed.
• Measure and cut tiles using appropriate tools (tile cutters, wet saws, etc.).
• Lay and align tiles with precision to ensure symmetry and a high-quality finish.
• Mix, apply, and seal grout between tiles.
• Remove and replace damaged or broken tiles.
• Ensure proper use of adhesives, spacers, and other materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all health and safety regulations on site.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tiler or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various tile types, tools, adhesives, and laying techniques.
• Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and kneeling for long periods.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures on construction sites.
