A quantity surveyor manages all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from
the initial calculations to the final figures.
To review draft tender documents to ensure all systems & components of the tender are
included.
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
Assist tender engineer in the process of pre-qualification and tendering.
Preparing and analysing costing for tenders and assist Tender Engineer in tendering.
Assist tender engineer in the procedure of pre-qualification with customers on the basis of
direct enquiries received from them or through press advertisements. In case in-house capabilities are
not adequate, formation of joint venture with domestic/international parties would be explored and
formal agreement got signed for submission with PQ document.
