Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Student Counsellor with expertise in child and adolescent psychology to support the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students. The counsellor will provide individual and group counselling, guide students in coping with stress, and collaborate with teachers and parents to foster a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students on academic, emotional, social, and behavioral concerns.
- Design and implement wellness programs, workshops, and awareness sessions on topics such as stress management, exam preparation, bullying, peer relationships, and mental health.
- Identify students requiring special interventions and develop support plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Maintain confidential counselling records and ensure ethical practices as per RCI guidelines.
- Support students during transition phases (primary to middle, middle to senior, board exam preparation, career guidance collaboration).
- Work closely with the school leadership, teachers, and parents to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Refer students to external professionals/agencies if specialized support is required.
- Conduct periodic assessments to track student progress and report outcomes to the school management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (mandatory).
- RCI Certification (mandatory).
- Experience:
- Minimum 4–5 years of counselling experience, preferably in a school or child-adolescent care setting.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and empathetic communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Knowledge of child development, behavioral interventions, and mental health strategies.
- Effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Available for students during school hours and as per requirement.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings, staff training, and school events when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
