Job Title: Steward – Café
Location: Grant Road & Churchgate, Mumbai
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month + Service charge + Food provided
Duty Hours: 10 hours/day
Weekly Off: 1 day off per week (as per standard schedule)
Job Description:
We are looking for courteous, efficient, and customer-oriented Stewards to join our café team at Grant Road and Churchgate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. Prior experience in cafés or QSRs is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests in a polite and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set before and after each service
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
- Assist in inventory checks and restocking as needed
- Handle customer queries or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely and accurate order execution
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a steward or service staff in a café or casual dining setup preferred
- Basic communication skills in English
- Pleasant personality with a strong focus on customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
