Job Description
To provide world-class technical support for in-service/delivered products and to influence maturity throughout the product life cycle to meet customer and business needs, ensuring Design Intent is met.
Key Accountabilities
• Resolve the SPC backend day to day issues
• Help in planning strategy for SPC Advancement
• Execution of advancement plan in SPC
• Coordinate for issues and resolution between commercial and governmental team
• Execute yearly maintenance activities for Spare parts catalog updates like SPS Patching, yearly copyright updating, SAP transition if any planned
- Develop and approve the technical content of technical publications/communications (used by OEM, build/commissioning/maintenance bases and customers) including acceptance limit development.
- Ensure compliance with requirements specified by regulatory authorities and to adhere to technical and business requirements of internal & external stakeholders. Where delegated, act as the Technical Authority providing assurance on build, commissioning and maintenance activities.
- Gather in-service data and carry out continuous improvement by identifying Best Practice and Learning from Experience activities, feeding back into future programmes and product design teams.
Key Experiences and any Qualifications
- Engineering or equivalent degree
- Knowledge of components/ systems functionality and numerical methods
- Knowledge of spare parts catalog creation and PLM system.
- Experience of working on complex tasks that are novel and ambiguous
- Strategic thinking for SPC development and advancement.
- Experience in problem resolution for backend support in SPC
- Experience in support/lead cross-functional teams e.g. specialists, suppliers, customers, partners
