Your Key Responsibilities
The GKAM has responsibilities for the management of relations and development of business with the Key Account (KA) on a global basis.
Responsibility for the Corporate Account: Global Account Analysis and Transparency
- Analyze the market and its competitive environment
- Evaluate the potential of the KA
- Identify and understand the KA’s business targets, strategy, business drivers; transfer this knowledge effectively into the organization to develop new business opportunities (medium to long-term time horizon) / new technical offerings
- Monitor the performance of Schaeffler with the KA
- Introduce strategies, targets, quality tools, portals and processes for the customer at Schaeffler
- Lead commercial negotiations in conjunction with Sales (warranty, material prices, annual savings, framework agreements, ...)
- Take responsibility, in conjunction with Sales, for a globally aligned pricing strategy
- Monitor DSO and take actions in case of significant delays
Strategic Account Development with a global approach
- Aevelop a Schaeffler Account Strategy Plan for the KA by identifying, driving and developing short- /medium- and long-term opportunities to grow the turnover and market share
- Achieve the KA business targets including order intake, customer satisfaction, opportunity pipeline, white spot growth an d customer relationship management

Your Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- University degree, ideally with a technical background (e.g. mechanical/electrical engineering, business administration and engineering)
- At least 10 years’ experience in sales, key account or program management, ideally with at least 5 years’ experience in the automotive or supply industries
- At least 3 years’ managerial responsibility, ideally in a multi-national team Strong leadership and sales personality (managing in the matrix, using expertise and persuasion, a strong deal maker)
- Strong business English skills (written and spoken), confident using the language of the global key account
- Willingness to travel frequently
