Job Title: Sourcing Coordinator – New Materials

Position Overview:
As a Sourcing Coordinator for new materials, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and on-boarding innovative ingredients and packaging solutions that align with our brand's commitment to luxury, efficacy, and sustainability. Collaborating closely with R&D, product development, and quality assurance teams, you will ensure that all sourced materials meet our stringent standards and contribute to the creation of exceptional skincare products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Identification & Evaluation:
- Research and identify emerging ingredients and packaging materials that align with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, sustainability practices, and alignment with brand values.
- Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective sourcing without compromising on quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D and product development teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure all materials meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of all sourcing activities, including supplier contracts, material specifications, and compliance certifications.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure all sourced materials comply with relevant standards.
- Market Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor products to identify potential opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to network with suppliers and stay informed about market developments.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within the cosmetics or skincare industry.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of material sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the skincare industry.
- Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the skincare industry and commitment to sustainability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sustainable and Eco-friendly materials.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
